At Care & Fun Childcare, our mission is to provide high-quality child care services that promote child development and growth. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and explore.
Our Staff
Passionate Professionals in early childhood education who provide an age-appropriate and Educational Emergent curriculum for your children.
Our staff members are educated (Bachelor of Education and/or E.C.E.), dedicated, knowledgeable and caring individuals with extensive agency training, First Aid training, and police reference checks.

We provide children with opportunities to participate in enriching and challenging experiences, based on having fun and learning through play.
We promote learning through children’s interests while catering to individual needs. We create a fun atmosphere and this makes learning easy. Following the principles of the Emergent curriculum, We encourage children to interact and discover the natural beauty of their surroundings. We encourage children to express themselves through their creativity such as art and music. The fun environment we create is also for our staff and families attending the center, we welcome families to join in the fun at any time.

We are social, and as such we all have a need to belong and feel valued. We believe that positive relationships are essential to creating a sense of belonging. We encourage guidance based on sensitivity and respect, with an emphasis on promoting each child’s self-esteem and self-concept. We listen and respond with understanding to the children, their families and each other. We promote children to become aware of their actions and the impact they have on others. We believe we act as role models for children.
Nutritional & Enjoyable Meals
our meals are cooked fresh from scratch at all our locations, nutritious and diverse. We offer Lunch and Two Snacks daily, meal times are a great social experience where all children sit together to share a meal. We cater to all dietary needs be it Halal, Kosher, Vegetarian, Vegan, and all sensitivities and allergies are a focus by our chefs for each individual child.

Educators will welcome you and your child with a smile. Our educators are not only selected based on their experience and qualifications but also on their compassionate and caring nature. We are friendly and fun. We believe in providing the highest quality of care by creating an environment that is nurturing and inclusive. Our qualifications and experience help us understand each child's needs so we can approach with sensitivity in a gentle and considerate way. Peace of mind
A lot of parents experience feelings of uncertainty or guilt about leaving their child in care, and this is completely normal! But what we guarantee that families of children in our care can relax in the reassurance that their children are happy, safe and are given the opportunity to learn and grow.
The experience your child gains from attending our service is invaluable as it sets a strong foundation for their development into adulthood. You can trust that while your child is with us, they will feel safe and loved. They will have a great experience which enriches all areas of their development including their language social skills. Our service comply with and operates within Nova scotia Day Care Act and Regulations.
Safety & Security
The safety and security of the children in our care is of key importance. Our educators hold current first aid qualifications and attend regular health and safety professional development. We ensure all buildings, equipment and activities are safe. Children are under constant supervision to ensure their safety and protection.
Learning & Development
We value children’s independence and encourage them to make choices and develop their self-help skills, as we believe this is a fundamental step in the learning ladder.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs at Care & Fun Childcare to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. Our programs include infant care, toddler care, and preschool care.
